yeah for songwriting it's gotta be the drums for me... although it's a double edged sword; can get so complex and revisiting an old project can get hairy on that tip.

I actually like sound design much more than songwriting though... I'm trying to get my ass going on a few breaks tunes though... wanna do a massive acid/goa one sometime too.

Lately I've been trying to get the whole mildly distorted bassline thing down, that's been fun.
