SK-2’s DJ career started in the early 90’s. After discovering the Acid House & UK Rave scene, it wasn’t long before he decided that 2 turntables & a mixer were the best things ever invented & embarked upon teaching himself how to use them.

After a few appearances at various free parties & under various guises, he eventually settled with the name “Skitz” & set about making a name for himself in the South-West underground scene, playing mainly Techno & Acid tr**ce.

In 1996 he started co-running a night called “GBH” at legendary club “Pawlett Manor” with fellow DJ “Tormentor”. When the club was demolished in 1998, they took the hugely successful GBH nights to a variety of South-West venues including The Arena (Bridgwater), Brean Leisure Park (Brean), The Depot (Bristol) & Lakota (Bristol) to name but a few.

By the Summer of ‘99, after many differences of opinions, the GBH boys decided to part company. With Skitz wanting to spend more time concentrating on DJ’ing & less on promoting, he handed the reins fully over to Tormentor who went on to make GBH one of the area’s leading dance organisations. Skitz remained resident until 2002.

Disillusioned & bored with the Techno scene of the time, he decided a new direction was needed & started delving more & more into Drum n’ Bass & filthy Breaks. By 2004 Skitz was dead & SK-2 had been born.

In the Summer of 2006, SK-2 & ex-GBH resident “The Maestro” started running their own Breaks & Dn’B nights called “Inferno”, to be followed in 2007 with their “Inferno Sessions” bar nights as well.

SK-2 joined Nubreaks in the Summer of 2007 & you can now catch him every Wednesday with his Inferno Sessions Radio Show, from 3pm-5pm GMT, playing the very latest vinyl releases from the worlds of Breaks & Drum n’ Bass.
