Bio:
Super Deejay Bobzilla only likes music that makes you go Whoa!, You know the stuff …

It all started with an obsession with basslines, crack addict funk drummers and twisted German synth players and has developed into something far more worrying than an obsession, something he now needs for.

Having spent his university days head down, headphones on, in a pool of his own vomit, rocking to a heady backing track of 60‘s Funk & Soul Grooves, Bronx B-Boy flavours and Sleng Teng basslines, Super Deejay Bobzilla has developed an eclectic & infectious style of breaks which chops out chunks of the dance floor like a rusty old chisel.

Super Deejay Bobzilla has a reputation for laying down strictly superfresh beats, whether it's funk, breaks or rolling drum'n' bass by hunting down the most sought after promo’s, demos and dub plates and smashing them, sideways on, into the frontal lobes of every audience that has ever had the pleasure of watching him at work.

By carving a niche in the Northern breaks scene of his adopted home of Middlesbrough, also Newcastle and Leeds plus guest spots at some of London’s more seminal Breaks events, Super Deejay Bobzilla has firmly established himself as one of the early proponents of the breakbeat scene, playing alongside the likes of Jon Carter, Propellerheads, Adam Freeland, The Freestylers, Shut Up & Dance, Annie Mac, Erol Alkan, Evil Nine, Fabio, Pendulum, The Herbaliser, Freq Nasty, Scratch Perverts, Jacques Lu Cont, Dub Pistols and Simian Mobile Disco to name but a few.

Super Deejay Bobzilla’s deejay parties are a dangerously infectious mix of chopped-up party bangers and b-boy influenced electronic funk, constantly focused in the search for the next piece of dance floor slaying funk.

Alongside partner Edzy (Unique 3), In 2008Super Deejay Bobzilla created Mutate Records, a record label dedicated to releasing freestyle electronica, breaks and techno, providing a much needed outlet to showcase a sound that he’s been crafting for years.

2009 sees a string of new Super Deejay Bobzilla productions flowing outthe soundcard with remixes fromartists playing abig influence inthe label'sdevelopment: Ben & Lex, Human Factor (Brazil), Kickflip, MKM & GBX (Brazil), Kazey & Bulldog (Paris)

Coming Soon on Mutate Records: Super Deejay Bobzilla - 'I Usually Don't Do Dis' featuring mixes by Unique 3, Ben & Lex, Kickflip, Disco Assassins, Lee Jarvis and Casual Bill.
