Growing up in New York, i was introduced to electronic music at a young age. started hitting the rave scene in the late 80's and never looked back. I joined the military in 92' and soon after got my first set of tables. i was blessed with being in the military, and being a budding DJ. I was fortunate to experience all the many scenes america had to offer. from the tribal house of the west coast, the acid house of midwest, the funky breaks of the south, and everything in between. The 10 years i served, i was able to culminate many influences, all the while honing my skills.
Sadly though as anyone who had spent 15+ years in the scene will tell you, unless your careful the scene will eat you up. As was the case with me. I was wise enough to realize that when the partying became more important than the music, it was time to hang it up. I cherished all those many years playing parties and clubs all america. but it was time for me to get my head straight.
now its 2012, creeping up on 40 years old, got a whole new perspective, and ive heard the music calling again. Got myself some lowend digital mixing equipment, and im ready to kick up some dust.
