I've had a lot of insomnia this year. Dark knights of the soul, furious masked young people with flames in their eyes or something like that. A few things have gotten me through those nights more or less intact -- the records of Brian Eno, Joy Division and Boards Of Canada certain Indian ragas, an ambient project called Mirror, and this single from BEATSMACK! Young masked people with flames in their eyes and razorblades instead of hands, running in the streets of nowhere-land, PERPETUAL PRESENT and KWERK in the gang! All hail the new Tech-Funk breed!
