Despair employs a pounding 808 bassline, along with an ethereal synth element, to take you on a dark and brooding tech-breaks journey. It Was Only keeps the vibe deep and mysterious as sweeping pads underpin shimmering synth hits and piano chord stabs, while a chanting vocal loop floats in and out. Two very fine pieces of sound design skill right here.
