The original’s techy, open-filter stomp peaks out with euphoric hands-in-the-air synth riffs and a breakdown that will work any floor.
Robosapiens – the mad doctors behind Dead Famous records – turn in an awesome techno rework that rolls with funky precussion and builds, builds builds to a killer peak out. Awesome.
Run Riot are a relatively new act with two R’s in their name, which make “Run Riot Remix” really fun to type and say. Their signiature rock elements fuse with the synths of the original to take the track into driving tech-breaks territory, and the result is an awesome peak time rocker that will not dissappoint.
Quadrat Beat are one of the highlight acts to come out of Eastern Europe in the last few years, and this track shows why – awesome punchy drums and treatment of the remix parts results in a tune that stays true to the original but twists it into a b-boy number extraordinaire!

Hey hey folks!

It’s been about 2 years since my last proper studio album and about a year and a half since I started my label Pop And Lock, so I figured it was about time to do a new “compilation” of sorts to hold things over until I finish my next album, due out later this year or early next. Notes From Myagi:
San Francisco is a city very dear to me, and has been the site of some of my favourite shows I’ve played in my 6 years of touring or so… The city has a great nightlife scene and is also a hub for the festival / phenomenon Burning Man, a week long celebration of music, art and lifestyle in the desert. The festival is very much a labor of love – I knew this already, but didn’t comprehend the degree to which the word “labor” comes into play until a recent trip to the bay area to do a benefit show with Elite Force, Soul Of Man and Slyde for the 2010 Temple Of Flux, a massive construction and project that involves numerous friends of mine.
