It’s time to welcome another superb Aussie producer to V.I.M.BREAKS releases catalogue. DiiSTORTiiON is coming from Perth, Australia he’s a producer/dj that belongs to the “elite” of Aussie Breaks producers as he has build a strong profile in the scene with some killer releases and remixes for RIDICULOUD RECORDS, DEFINITION:BREAKS RECORDS, BREAKZ R BOSS RECORDS. We’ve managed to create a strong package with remixes by British DR.FISH, a Bristol based dj and rising producer who’s got a killer release for BROKEN RECORDS and some coming stuff for our label, and by Italian DJ HOOK (the main reviewer of BREAKS IT) an experienced Breaks producer which has already got releases for YOUNG NRG PRODUCTIONS, 13BREAKZ RECORDS, BASS REFLECTIONS and KINDCRIME RECORDS (watch out for his forthcoming single in our label).

Dr Fish lands the killer blow on this one... can't quite get over how tight and well-engineered his production has become in the space of no time at all - respect!
But I also very much like what DJ Hook has done in lending it a more epic feel. I'd like it to have a bit more "roll" to it, and there's a couple of places where I think the bassline isn't quite on the money, but the kind of big-room production style really appeals to me Oh, and it would be nice to have more of an outro for mixing purposes next time please
I don't want to knock the original either, it's a promising debut, but it just sounded a bit "raw" somehow, the acid tweaks a bit overstated. I look forward to hearing more as he refines his sound
