Shire Rats Radio kick off the first show of our second year with a special one hour guest mix from the funk master BMD of Timewarp Music.



BMD (a.k.a. BluntMaster Dred) hails from Poland and has been heavily involved in music since the age of six. In 2007 he was signed to the uber funky label Timewarp Music alongside artists such as Jayl Funk, Umbo & Balatz & Quasmodo. His debut EP XLNT exploded onto the scene, gaining support from many top artists. His second EP Refunked is about to be released 3rd November 2008. He describes his productions as funky big beat.

The music he presents in his DJ sets differs depending on the party he plays at, and ranges from nu funk, broken beats and nu jazz through funky breaks and big beats to nu skool breaks.

Dr Fish will also be spinning a one hour mix of some Nu-Skool Breaks on the show, with a whole heap of brand new releases and promos from the likes of A Skillz & Krafty Kuts, Plump DJs, Kraymon & more.
