To celebrate another successful twin attack of Big Beat Reunions (one in Brighton, the other in Leeds) this past weekend, we thought it was high time we dusted off a few classics and presented another big beat retrospective show.

However, this time around, instead of spinning a bunch of big beat tunes, we thought we might delve a little deeper and dig out some tunes that represent the big beat sound – tunes that have influenced the big beat sound of the 90s, as well as tunes that have since carried on the big beat mantra of ‘let’s just have fun and bollocks to the chin strokers!’

So, this Tuesday night, you can expect to hear a wide and varied selection of tunes from rare groove to electro, from acid house to techno and of course some nuskool breaks as well. This is a big beat retrospective after all, so anything goes!
