DJs: Stanton Warriors, Scratch Perverts, Kito, Ed Solo, Deekline, Mafia Kiss, Atomic Hooligan
Room 2 Hosted by Supatronix: Jurassik, Reveal, B-Roll, Miss Monument
The Stanton Warriors return to rock Cable's imposing arches with another gnarly Stanton Sessions shindig on the 3rd of November. For this soiree the duo have drafted in the skills of turntable wizards the Scratch Perverts. Having gained world-wide acclaim by winning the first ever team DMC competition in 1999, as well as accolades as individuals, you would be hard-pushed to find a collective of more technically capable jocks. From releasing a CD for the Big Issue to featuring “the hardest track on DJ Hero”, expect more cuts and scratches than Edward Scissor Hands face.
Joining the boys we have Ozzy badass Kito who returns with her tough edged beats, grinding bass and choppy synths. Ed Solo will also step up and the Brightonian beatsmith always delivers. The Stanton boys have also invited down Deekline, one of those rare figures in music who manages to balance the underground sound and the mainstream with effortless flair. Next up we have Mafia Kiss, who's made a reputation for himself as "one to watch" on the breaks and bass scene. After two well received albums and a multitude of singles and remixes, Atomic Hooligan will round things off nicely in the main room. Expect serious dance floor destroyers, as their high-octane sets have earned them quite the reputation. Room 2, as always, is in the capable hands of Supatronix with Jurassik, Reveal, B-Roll and Miss Monument taking control. BIG!
