PEO DE PITTE -

“Peo de Pitte is def a name to watch!”, Fake Blood
...
Peo De Pitte aka Peo Häggström hails from the city of Stockholm, Sweden. After moving to London Peo have also been running his very own label FlatOut Records, the main home for releases of his two aliases Peo de Pitte and Haggstrom.

His trademark combination of rare groove beats and cutting edge synth action has resulted in making Peo one of the most exciting new producers to emerge. With remixes and releases on labels including Fingerlickin’, Global Underground, LOT49, U&A and Champion Records it is no surprise that he has won huge support worldwide. His hailed remix of Sidney Samson – Riverside did over 50 000 downloads in just 2 months!

In just one year he managed to have exclusive mixsets on both Radio1 and Kiss100 UK as well as massive support from Sinden, Laidback Luke, Fake Blood, Crookers, Jamie Fanatic, Loose Cannons, Trevor Loveys, MJ Cole, Calvertron, Matt Darey, James Zabiela, Kissy Sell Out, Stonebridge, Micky Slim, Elite Force, Jaymo, Tony Senghore, Evil 9, Foamo, Andy George, Nom De Strip, Stupid Fresh, Matt Darey, Plump DJ's, Afrojack, DJ Icey, Tittsworth, Meat Katie, Utah Saints, NAPT and others…

PLAZA DE FUNK -

Plaza de Funk has been producing and DJing since 2001. After a few formative years spent dabbling with production and releasing records on labels such as Oxyd in his native country Italy, he moved to London in early 2004 and almost immediately got signed to West Records (best breakthrough label at Breakspoll 2005, and nominated as best label at Breakspoll 2006). His Djing also picked up hugely between 2006 and 2007, and has seen Plaza performing at Breakspoll at Fabric in February, playing two of the Uk’s biggest festivals – namely Glastonbury and Glade – while also jetting around to play in the States, France, Italy, Spain and some of the most respected clubnights in the Uk.

There have been a lot more releases between the second half of 2007 and the beginning of 2008, namely the remix of Zimbardo "Say Hey" on Ruff Dog, the remix of Break The Box "Groovy Moves" on Ground Level, the remix of the Beat Assassins "Generation MTV" on Mofo and a new original, "Ghetto Groove/Beatdown" on Brighton Breaks. In February 2008, Plaza De Funk was invited to play Breakspoll for the second time in a row and was nominated in two categories - best breakthrough dj and best breakthrough producer. He won the award for Best Breakthrough Dj and is currently busy gigging throughout the world.

Highlights of 2009 included another performance at Breakspoll, 2 tours in the States and the first tour of Australia. Add to this the fact that Do It - a tune that was originally written for a charity complitation project - has just been selected by the Plump Dj's for inclusion in their massive new Global Underground mix cd, and you'll see why the future looks bright!

With special guest appearance from MARK MCIVER (Our Friends Eclectic) plus residents Steve Thorpe & Resistance
