NUBREAKS FORUM, GENERAL GUIDELINES


-Each forum is designed to accomodate specific thread topics. General discussion is flexible, but topics that hedge towards forum specific topics may be moved to the appropriate forum, at the discretion of a moderator. Please do not cross-post, or post the same thread in multiple forums. Cross-posts will be deleted and the offender will be issued a warning. If crossposting continues, the user may be subject to loss of of forum access.

-All promotion/upcoming events threads will be moved to the Promotions forum and their author notified of the move. Please do not flame people who accidentally post promos here. It happens. 2 or 3 times and all bets are off . Promotions include plugs for record releases, club nights, and web sites. Also, please remember to make use of the calendar. This can serve as another valuable promotional tool, as your upcoming dates appear on the front page of nubreaks.com.

-The attitude is inclusivity, tolerance, and above all RESPECT. Personal attacks will not be condoned. PLEASE REMEMBER THAT THIS IS A VERY IMMEDIATE MEDIUM FOR COMMUNICATION. Threads closed or deleted may be accompanied by an explanation if necessary. Think before you type. This is a global community. Users who are considered offensive will be issued a warning. Continued behavior may result in suspension or banning of their user account.

-Private Messages (PMs) exist for a reason, as does the technology to alert users to new PMs (email/popups). Please try to avoid posting "ATTN: so and so" messages asking people to check their PMs. These threads would clog up the board and are not for general consumption. Threads of this nature will be removed. Keep the river flowin' . Threads notifying users that their PM boxes are full are permitted but will be closed.

-If you have an issue with a post (in any forum), you may REPORT THE POST to the moderator of the forum by clicking on the button to do so beneath each post . An email will be sent to the moderator(s) for the forum.

-Trolls will be outed and dealt with. If you're here just to stir the pot, dont expect to be around long. Multiple aliases will be banned.

-Please avoid posting not safe for work sites or images on the forum. If you must, denote the content with a disclaimer of "NSFW" or similar in the thread title or post.

nuBreaks does not condone illegal file sharing. While we cannot stop anyone from doing it, we will help the artists and labels that are a part of our community protect their livelihood. Anyone known to be using nuBreaks as a medium of communication to facilitate the sharing of songs with a copyright held by any of our forum companions will be dealt with in whatever way the administrative team deems necessary for the particular case. This may include - but is not limited to - informing the person(s) who hold the copyrights for the material you are trading/sharing and suspension or banning from the board. This is not meant as an unfair threat but is simply our way of doing our best to support and help the labels and producers who represent the backbone and forefront of our music scene.
