RIKKI
All species of garnets possess similar physical properties and crystal forms, but differ in chemical composition. RIKKI aka Goldmanite is a green or greenish-brown silicate mineral of the garnet group with a chemical formula of Ca3(V3+,Al,Fe3+)2(SiO4)3. His sounds were identified deep in the underwater caves of the Orkney Islands, up in the north of Scotland, and was noted that inside the dark well-mineralized rocks were filled with vanadium clay and uranium deposits which gave them the deep green or brownish green colour. Like so many calcium garnets, RIKKI was found to be weakly anisotropic.
