Hi everyone, New to the site/board but we have been around hiding out in the underground for over a decade. Know a bunch of you but for those that I don't. .. True Skool Music is dynamic Florida based label interested keeping the true spirit of rave alive. Tis account will be used by all of us to post parties, events, free and released music, tell stories, support our friends here and share our knowledge of our Unique Florida scene.
background- The True skool "moniker" was started by Brian Skynet back in the 90's rave era. . .in the growing local scene he later met Dj Phil Afco and they turned it into a music label producing worldwide released VINYL and Tapes. As the music moved more digital they decide to use Skyco for Vinyl releases and True skool for digital releases as the digital was showing a trend at moving further away from the genre sounds they loved and danced too. With their idea to keep digital sounds heavily influenced by the florida oldschool it seemed appropriate as slogan to what they were working toward.
Today we have over 300 digital singles, 15 albums and 1 vinyl release with 8 artist working on the US label. We are always looking to collaborate, share ideas and make great music/ videos. So Hit us up anytime and submit breakbeat genre music to our group
