MAX PEAK
All species of garnets possess similar physical properties and crystal forms, but differ in chemical composition. MAX PEAK usually comes as Calderite, a mineral in the garnet group with the chemical formula (Mn2+, Ca)3(Fe3+, Al)2(SiO4). He is dark reddish brown to dark yellowish in color and generally granular massive in form. He was named for our technician and geologist James Calder who worked on the geology of India. The name was first applied to his superb Deep and Techy remix for MR.KILLEN's “The Red Line” single and was trademarked after the identification of the “Deep Breath” track inside a rock in manganese deposits in Katkamsandi, Hazaribagh district, India.
